What Does an Acro Dance Class Look Like?
Each Acro class combines conditioning, flexibility, technique, and skill progressions to help students build strength and confidence safely.
WARM-UP + CONDITIONING
Students prepare with mobility, core work, balance, and strength exercises.
FLEXIBILITY + CONTROL
Focused stretching and mobility drills help improve range of motion, alignment, and body awareness.
FOUNDATIONAL SKILLS
Students work on rolls, bridges, handstand preparation, cartwheel foundations, and beginner floor skills.
SKILL PROGRESSIONS
Skills are broken into manageable steps so students build technique, control, and confidence before progressing.
COMBINATIONS + REVIEW
Class finishes by connecting skills into short sequences and reinforcing the techniques introduced that day.

What is
Acro?
Acro combines dance technique with beginner-friendly acrobatic skills. Students develop strength, flexibility, balance, coordination, and body control while learning how to move safely and confidently.
In class, dancers build foundational skills progressively, starting with basic floor work and positions before advancing into more challenging movements.

Inside Our Richmond Hill Dance Studio

Acro classes take place at Long & McQuade, 10 Via Renzo Dr in Richmond Hill. Our Dance Centre is located on the second floor and features dedicated studio space plus an on-site performance hall.



Students train in bright, dedicated studio spaces and perform in our on-site 200+ seat hall, all under one roof.
