Weeks 3 & 4
Pitched Percussion
Introduce melody with xylophones, boomwhackers, and handbells. Students explore pitch, scales, and teamwork as they create simple tunes and harmonies together.

Weeks 5 & 6
Piano
A classic intro to melody, rhythm, and hand coordination. Kids try both hands on the keys and explore musical storytelling on one of the most versatile instruments.

Weeks 7 & 8
Voice
Kids build confidence through singing games, pitch-matching, and storytelling with their voice. A joyful way to develop ear training and expression.

Weeks 9 & 10
Ukulele
Small hands meet small strings! Students learn beginner chords and strumming patterns while singing along to their favourite songs.

Weeks 11 & 12
Acoustic Guitar
Kids explore finger picking and rhythm on the acoustic guitar. A great intro to foundational skills that transfer to many other string instruments.

A fun and accessible wind instrument that builds breath control, note reading, and tone production. Great for young learners to understand melody and phrasing.

Weeks 17 & 18

One of the most expressive instruments. Kids try bowing and plucking while learning posture, pitch accuracy, and control.

Weeks 19 & 20
