What is Show Choir?
Show Choir is a performance-based vocal ensemble program for students who love to sing and want to perform with others. Students rehearse weekly in a group setting, learn ensemble songs, build vocal confidence, and prepare for live performance opportunities.
Each group works with a coach who helps students improve their singing, listening, stage presence, movement, teamwork, and musical expression
From learning your part in a vocal arrangement to performing on stage, Show Choir gives students a complete group singing experience. It is a strong next step for singers who are ready to move beyond private voice lessons and perform with others.
Who is Show Choir For?
For singers ages 10-16. Musical theatre fans. Pop music lovers. Students ready to perform.

Voice Students Ready for More
Private voice lessons help students build strong vocal technique. Show Choir gives students a place to apply those skills through ensemble singing, harmonies, movement, and stage performance.

Students who want Solo & Group Opportunities
Students perform as part of a full vocal ensemble, with opportunities for solos, duets, and smaller group features in the final show. This gives each student room to grow while still being supported by the full group.

Musical Theatre & Pop Performers
Show Choir explores a wide range of music, including musical theatre, pop, and other popular styles. Students learn how to sing with expression, move with confidence, and perform songs in a way that connects with an audience.

Students who want a Creative Community
Show Choir gives students a place to belong. Singers work together, support each other, and build confidence through shared rehearsals, performance goals, and a strong connection to the Long & McQuade Richmond Hill music community.
